The Chair of Structural Analysis and Dynamics works on a broad spectrum of practical issues of structural dynamics, which include especially the following topics:
- Dynamic system identification for the prediction of natural frequency and damping properties
- Long-term structural condition monitoring
- Measurement of ground vibrations induced by construction works
- Planning and execution of experimental tests
- Software development for the data acquisition and evaluation of simulations and tests

Mobile measurement instruments with diverse sensors are available, which are qualified to accomplish several tasks. Because of the comprehensive and versatile sensor technology it is easily possible to execute measurements conforming the frequency and amplitude demands.
